- Removal of the notched weir at Roding Valley Park (TQ 41502 89321), opening approximately 10km of upstream habitat for migratory fish, such as the critically endangered European eel, to use
- Reinstatement natural flows and sediment movements within the River Roding at Roding Valley Park, helping to improve the availability of habitats for a range of wetland species including bullhead (a bottom dwelling freshwater fish), dragonflies and damselflies
- Directly improve 100m of river habitat through the addition of in channel large wood deflectors, which will help the river flow follow a more natural course within its existing channel
