The River Alt & Croxteth Brook Restoration Project is a partnership that will use CRF funds to enable healthier, more productive and diverse ecosystems by removing culverts to create ‘renaturalised’ water courses. It will also make maintenance of the water courses easier, including the removal of rubbish and other obstructions, thus reducing the risk of flooding in the wider catchment.
