|Project summary=The Re-Engaging Children with Rivers(REACH) Project carried out in the spring and summer of 2013, worked with 15 primary schools in the Herefordshire and Monmouthshire region. The aim was to inform children about the wide diversity of organisms that live in the rivers that surround them, and how they can be managed to protect the animals which inhabit them. It involved sending the children on field trips to local rivers with ID charts, buckets and wellies.
