Association of Rivers Trusts The main aims of the River Trusts are, “to co-ordinate, represent and develop the aims and interests of the member Trusts in the promotion of sustainable, holistic and integrated catchment management and sound environmental practices, recognising the wider economic benefits for local communities and the value of education.”
Blueprint for Water Blueprint for water is a campaign of the Wildlife and Countryside Link. Wildlife and Countryside Link is an umbrella body, whose purpose is to bring together voluntary organisations in the UK to protect and enhance wildlife, landscape and the marine environment, and to further the quiet enjoyment and appreciation of the countryside. Environment Agency The Environment Agency (England & Wales) is the overall project leader of RESTORE. The EA is the largest organisation in funding and delivering river restoration in England and Wales and has developed significant expertise in this field over the last 20 years. This expertise covers the breadth and depth of restoration activities from strategic planning through to the design, implementation and monitoring of restoration activities.
European Centre for River Restoration The ECRR is a European network consisting of national centres and individual members bound by their mission to enhance and promote river restoration throughout Europe.
Global Water Partnership National Farmers Union The NFU trade association is the largest farming organisation is the in the UK. Its mission is to "champion British farming and provides professional representation and services to its Farmer and Grower members".
River Restoration Centre The River Restoration Centre (RRC) exists to promote, facilitate and support best practice in river, watercourse and floodplain management across the UK. It aims to provide a focal point for the exchange and dissemination of information and expertise relating to river restoration and enhancement. The Centre also provides advice on site-specific technical issues through a network of experienced river restoration practitioners. RRC is a non-profit making organisation which aims to offer impartial advice to enable practitioners and clients, to gain maximum benefit from current experiences in a variety of easily accessible ways.

Wild Trout Trust The Wild Trout Trust stimulates hands-on, in-the-water projects, helping others to help themselves with habitat improvement in and around rivers and lakes.
World Wildlife Fund for Nature WWF-UK is the UK arm of the WWF Network. Using a combination of practical experience, knowledge and credibility, to work with governments, businesses and communities both here in the UK and around the world so that people and nature thrive within their fair share of the planet's natural resources.
