This project aims to improve biodiversity, function as a green corridor, maintain and improve landscape, recreation and cultural-historical values. The work here involved the creation of a 1 ha. swamp, 6,3 ha. of fish spawning and a 6km long seepage gully. The polder has been previously used as a landfill, for sand excavation, and tabacco cultivation.
