|Project summary=Beekherstel werkzaamheden zijn begonnen om de ecologische waarden in het gebied te verbeteren zodat deze voldoen aan de KRW-standaarden en om de beek te verbinden met de ecologische hoofstructuur van de vallei. Alle doelen van het grootschalig beekherstel in dit gebied zijn:

As part of this large scale stream restoration, Building with Nature was implemented. A particular example is main channel mowing to improve channel flow.
Als onderdeel van dit grootschalig beekherstel is ook Bouwen met Natuur (BmN) toegepast. Een bijzonder voorbeeld hier van is het stroombaanmaaien om de watergang van de beek te verbeteren.
