Rijn en IJssel gaat de beek en omgeving herinrichten. Zodat het natuurlijke beeksysteem zoveel mogelijk kansen krijgt, er meer water wordt vastgehouden en de natuur beter tot z’n recht komt.  
Water authority Rijn en IJssel will re-design the stream and its surroundings. This is supposed to improve the opportunities fort he natural stream system to develop, retain more water and make the natural features more prominent.


Het wordt een kleinschalig landschap met poelen, vochtige heide, graslanden en loofbosjes. De poelen worden  verbonden door een smalle loop die geleidelijk aan breder wordt en begint te meanderen. Houtwallen en lokale veentjes zorgen voor een afwisselend landschap.
The landscape should develop into a small-scale landscape with pools, heathland, grassland and patches of deciduous woodland. The pools will be conncected by a narrow stream that gradually widens and starts to meander. Vegetated earth walls and local bogs create a varied landscape.
